ALPHADOGS ‘EDITORS’ LOUNGE’ TO DISCUSS FUTURE OF POST-PRODUCTION WITH EXPERT PANEL; POST MAGAZINE’S DANIEL RESTUCCIO TO MODERATE

Discussion will include a preview of the 2005 National Association of Broadcasters Post-Production World Conference

AlphaDogs, Inc., a post-production studio focused on keeping clients “ahead of the pack,” has announced the topic of its March 2005 Editors’ Lounge event.

The Editors’ Lounge will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25, and is free and open to editors. Daniel Restuccio, West Coast Bureau Chief of Post magazine, will moderate the discussion. Restuccio reports on projects, trends and news and has covered digital content creators from their pioneering early days.

The guest panel will include:

Michael Buday - In 1998, Buday cut the first major HDTV program to be broadcast digitally in the U.S., CBS’s Chicago Hope. Buday started his editing career with the BBC in London and currently edits and consults for networks and studios worldwide.

Mark Raudonis - Two-time Emmy nominee, currently the vice president of post productions for Bunim-Murray Productions. Raudonis supervises more than 100 editors and assistant editors, who have recently made the switch over to Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Xsan.

Jeff Sengpiehl - Known as “Doc Avid”, Sengpiehl is currently an Avid tech support and systems expert. With more than 13 years experience in Avid workflow and shared storage environments, Sengpiehl has established himself as an expert in the field.

Lucas Wilson - Emmy nominated editor, former “DS Guru” and Quantel Specialist. Wilson is a current DI and 2K/4K expert for Assimilate.
