Opportunity to learn about new Avid products and give feedback to Avid staff

today announced that Academy Award® winning, Avid® Senior Product Designer Michael Phillips
will share tips and tricks to help simplify HD and SD formatting issues for post-professionals at this
month s Editors’ Lounge on Tuesday, May 17, hosted by AlphaDogs.
A myriad of choices are available today in the various HD and SD formats; getting them to play nicely together is a real art. Phillips, Avid s film and HD workflow guru, will impart advice on how to handle getting different formats and frame rates to synch together in the new HD age.
Additional Avid personnel will share information and answer questions about Avid’s new products announced at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show. This will be an opportunity to provide feedback about Avid’s product line.
The Editors’ Lounge will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to editors.
