ALPHADOGS PROMOTES SHARON NICHOLS TO COO

Business and creative development veteran to oversee daily operations for growing post-production studio

May 12, 2003—Burbank, Calif.—
AlphaDogs, Inc., a post-production studio focused on keeping clients “ahead of the pack,” has promoted Sharon Nichols, formerly vice president of creative development, to chief operating officer.

At AlphaDogs, Nichols now is responsible for the daily operations of the agency, making sure that the team continues to exceed clients’ expectations. Nichols brings more than a decade of post-production experience to her new position, and will work closely with AlphaDogs President Terence Curren to ensure that projects are completed to client specifications.

In addition, Nichols will manage the work of a number of AlphaDogs employees, including Russell Frazier, vice president of graphics technologies; Jim Faraci, vice president of audio technologies; Ilene Glickstein, vice president of sales; and John Moore, senior editor.

“Since joining AlphaDogs, Sharon has proven herself to be an invaluable member of the team,” said Curren. “In addition to being a self-starter adept at business development and client relations, she brings strong managerial skills to AlphaDogs that will help us work more effectively during this period of growth.”

Before her promotion to COO, Nichols served as vice president of creative development at AlphaDogs. Prior to AlphaDogs, she worked at Matchframe Video as vice president of business development. At Matchframe, Nichols helped define the company’s market strategy and introduce new services. In addition, Nichols helped redefine the operations and customer service departments to better service client needs.

From 1997 to 2001, Nichols was director of sales for LaserPacific Media Corporation, where she oversaw the sales team and created innovative new sales strategies to boost revenue. She also has held executive and post-production positions at Sunset Post, BB&J Visual Effects and the Post Group.

She earned a degree in communications from Baylor University and in 1991 was named one of the Outstanding College Students of America.
