Our offline options span the full gamut of HD and SD systems, including Avid Symphony, Avid Adrenaline and Final Cut Pro. We also also offer offline editing system rentals with 24/7 tech support through our partnership with Midtown Edit.

We can provide the cutting room and editor as a complete package, or you can set up your own post-production office in one of our rental office suites to work around-the-clock on your own schedule (perfect for long-form projects).

AlphaDogs proudly offers the Avid Symphony Nitris HD with the ability to Total Conform a project offlined on an Avid NLE - scaling all the way to uncompressed HD - with the full suite of powerful tools from Avid's popular Symphony product line.

In addition, our Avid Xpress Studio HD can handle offline editing at several HD resolutions: Avid DNxHD, Panasonic DVCPRO HD, and native HDV. Our proprietary HD workflows allow significant time savings when you're ready for online.

AlphaDogs also offers 10-bit uncompressed Final Cut Pro HD finishing on its PowerMac G5 workstation.

Online at AlphaDogs means cutting-edge technology combined with experienced talent. We offer a wide range of video finishing services to cover the whole gamut of digital editing.

The backbone of our online services are a pair of Avid Symphony Nitris suites that offer 1:1 uncompressed video for unmatched SD and HD quality - perfect for final assembly and color correction. They are fully integrated into our Terrablock shared network storage for maximum project flexibility. For Final Cut workflows, we can finish on a Final Cut Pro system.

Our editing rooms are designed for practical, working comfort - no distractions from getting your work done... unless you prefer to pass the time surfing the web or watching a DVD.

Audio at AlphaDogs means the sweet sound of a perfect mix. Whether your project is a reality show requiring a deft hand to balance the sound levels of multiple field mics or a documentary needing subtle finesse to marry voice overs with music, our re-recording mixers have the skills, experience, and hardware to exceed your expectations.

Our beautifully appointed twin audio suites revolve around Pro Tools HD (fully 5.1 surround compliant). A Mackie HUI and full complement of audio outboard equipment, including DAT and DA-88 decks, rounds out the hardware package.

Once you’ve completed your AlphaDogs audio session, you can be sure that your master is truly “finished” and more than ready for its debut.

When it comes to Broadcast Design, AlphaDogs lives and breathes its motto: “ahead of the pack.” Our designers love to push themselves and create visuals with stunning impact. Using the latest software tools and constant self-improvement through training, we can take on any 2D and 2.5D project from logo design to animated title sequences and everything in between.

We also specialize in eye-catching menu design for feature film DVDs. Whether your project needs a basic set of still-graphic menu pages or a large number of complex animated menus, we can put together a visual package that will make your DVD stand out from the rest.

Digital Service Station is an ancilliary business developed by AlphaDogs to serve the needs of the independent producer/editor with their own system. We offer a revolutionary concept: a one-stop-shop for transferring your videotapes to digital media on firewire drives (configured for your editing system) and then back out to videotape once you’ve completed your cut.

Our tiered service allows a wide range of options from basic do-it-yourself (we provide a room and get you started) to assistant editor logging and one-pass “best-light” color correction (great unsupervised overnight options).

This process especially benefits clients who live or work far from a city with post-production facilities: ship us your tapes and we’ll ship you the media drives (and vice versa).
